Spirulina or blue-green algae is becoming more and more popular in Germany, although in many other countries it has long been considered a special plant. Spirulina contains many vitamins, minerals and trace elements, all of which have a positive effect on the human body.
Like all plants, Spirulina also consists of abundant chlorophyll. This is quite similar to the hemoglobin present in our blood. Therefore, it is believed that the absorption of chlorophyll in the human body promotes the formation of hemoglobin. This is responsible for the transport of oxygen from the lungs to the whole body.
