Krause Hof - Grape Seed Extract 95% OPC (90 Capsules á 500mg)  

The abbreviation OPC stands for "Oligomeric Proanthocyanidins". These are so-called polyphenols - secondary plant substances that occur naturally in various plants, such as some types of fruit. To take advantage of the numerous health-promoting properties of oligomeric proanthocyanidins, OPC is extracted from grape seeds. They have a particularly high content of the valuable plant substances. The first evidence of OPC in grape seeds was provided by the French researcher Jacques Masquellier in 1995.

Krause Hof is located in Germany and is therefore subject to strict controls.

Statements of various OPC suppliers, such as 440 mg OPC complex let hope 440 mg OPC, but mean the entire content of the capsule. OPC is then usually only little in it. However, the bioavailability should be checked here.

Almost all suppliers of OPC are located abroad, although you have a German homepage. Unfortunately, German authorities seldom or never check these suppliers, as they cannot be accessed.

We do without any fillers (thus higher production costs) and use only natural substances, an exceptionally high concentration of OPC. Polyphenols are not equal to OPC! In addition to OPC, other important polyphenols (antioxidant substances) are also contained, such as monomeric procyanidins.

In accordance with our company philosophy, we leave our OPC in its natural plant compound. Since OPC is fat and water soluble, it is excellently absorbed by the body (high bioavailability). The bioavailability determines the concentration of the vital substance in the blood.

Due to current EU legislation, the advertising of foods or food supplements for their health benefits is limited. This allows us to make only health claims to consumers, which are subject to the Health Claims Regulation of EFSA (European Food Safety Authority).
