Citrus Bergamot is a dietary supplement, in the composition of which there is a highly concentrated extract of the pulp of bergamot. Bergamot (Citrus bergamia Risso) is a small citrus tree grown mainly in Italy. It bears round fruits with aromatic pulp. The extract obtained from it is standardized for the content of five polyphenols (neoeriocitrin, neohesperidin, naringin, melitidin and brutieridin).
Effects (Health Claims):
Due to current EU legislation, the advertising of foods or food supplements for their health benefits is limited. This allows us to make only health claims to consumers, which are subject to the Health Claims Regulation of EFSA (European Food Safety Authority).
