After its discovery, its special value compared to other substances (such as vitamins) was quickly recognized through studies. Small amounts of alpha lipoic acid are found naturally in the liver, heart and kidney.
In addition, alpha lipoic acid can be taken continuously and has no disadvantages (fatigue, avoidance of certain foods, etc.).
